Winner of 2010 Decatur Historic Commission Design Award

Complete remodel of main floor, and addition of new upper floor below an extended roof line. The house had previously undergone some poorly planned additions, and several odd spaces were reconfigured into a cohesive, flowing floor plan. The front archways were restored to recreate the original open entry porch, a new front terrace was added, and a previous addition was converted into a screened porch. The project provided additional interior and outdoor living spaces while still maintaining the footprint, scale, and massing of the original house.
